Important Factors to Consider While Selecting a PMEGP Project:
- Ensure the project is feasible in the local market.
- Check if raw materials are easily available.
- Assess whether you possess the necessary skills for the business.
- Confirm whether you can maintain personal control over the operations.
- Choose a business model that is profitable with low operational costs.

- Food processing businesses (e.g., papad, pickles, spices)
- Iron and wood-based industries
- Mobile/computer repair centers
- Bicycle/motorcycle repair shops
- Detergent/soap manufacturing

Note: Under PMEGP, the typical project cost limit is:
- ₹10 lakh for service-based businesses
- ₹25 lakh for manufacturing/production-based businesses
